CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A man is facing charges after Charleston Police say he hit another man in the face with a handgun.
Austin Oneil Chrisley, 37, was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, jail records show.
A police report states the victim went to a party on Beaufain Street around 3 a.m. on Feb. 26 to meet some friends.
Upon the victim’s arrival, Chrisley called him a “rat b—-” and a “snitch” before walking around the kitchen counter and hitting him in the mouth with a gun, the report states.
When the victim ran out of the apartment he saw the gun Chrisley was holding. Chrisley then pointed the gun at the victim and threatened to kill him, the report states.
