Minden area impacted by another tornado Monday night [Video]

MINDEN, Iowa (WOWT) – A round of severe storms brought heavy rain, wind and hail to parts of Iowa and Nebraska Monday night.

WOWT reports there were some very quick developing tornadoes. One of them appears to have impacted the Minden area, which is still recovering after a tornado caused widespread damage there late last month.

A tornado debris signature showed up on radar a little after 9 p.m. It looks like a quick tornado formed in the night and produced some damage along the way east of Minden northeast toward the Shelby area.

Several power poles and lines are down, and some residences have reported damage. This would be just east of the track of the EF-3 tornado that went through this area back on April 26th.
