IPHONE users could be risking their battery life and overall performance by avoiding two key numbers.

The numbers relate to the temperature you should be keeping your phone at.

If your iPhone gets too hot or too cold its performance can be heavily impacted.

An iPhone battery that overheats can suffer permanent damage.

The same goes for other devices not just iPhones or Androids.

This is why it’s so important to keep electronics at a regular temperature.

Apple has some good advice for iPhone users on its website.

“Use iOS and iPadOS devices where the ambient temperature is between 0º and 35º C (32º to 95º F).

“Low- or high-temperature conditions might cause your device to change its behavior to regulate its temperature.

“Using an iOS or iPadOS device in very hot conditions can permanently shorten battery life,” Apple explains.
