NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Patchy fog will be possible tonight as we see a slight increase in humidity across the area. This likely won’t be too dense but still be aware of that potential during the morning commute.

High pressure stretching across the eastern U.S. and over Gulf of Mexico will continue to provide calm conditions for the next day or so. Expect warmer temperatures, light winds and low rain chances for most of the week.

Overnight, low temperatures will be warmer, but still on the cool side, dropping into the mid 40s across the Northshore. Locations south of Lake Pontchartrain can expect morning temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s.

By Wednesday afternoon, high temperatures are set to return to the mid 70s. Temperatures will continue to climb into the mid 70s once again Thursday before a weak front moves through early Friday. That will mean clear and pleasant conditions …
