OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. — Osage County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man following an hours-long hostage situation near Highway 60 and McCord Road in McCord on April 12.

Deputies arrested William Davis on assault and battery charges after he allegedly held a woman hostage in a bedroom during a domestic dispute, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Deputies were called to the area at around 1 p.m. by a family member who said that Davis had taken a woman hostage during a fight.

After speaking with deputies, the family member told deputies that she heard over the phone that Davis told the woman that he was going to kill her and then himself.

The family member then said she went to the house and upon entering, she saw Davis and the woman still fighting. The family member said that Davis had a knife in his hand and at one point held …
