OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. — Osage County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man following an hours-long hostage situation near Highway 60 and McCord Road in McCord on April 12.
Deputies arrested William Davis on assault and battery charges after he allegedly held a woman hostage in a bedroom during a domestic dispute, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Deputies were called to the area at around 1 p.m. by a family member who said that Davis had taken a woman hostage during a fight.
After speaking with deputies, the family member told deputies that she heard over the phone that Davis told the woman that he was going to kill her and then himself.
