Peter Dutton’s push for nuclear is becoming ‘clearer by the day’

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton’s push for nuclear is becoming “clearer by the day”, Sky News host Peta Credlin says.

“It is becoming clearer by the day that Peter Dutton is serious about ending the nuclear ban, and the Opposition will take a clear and strong alternative energy policy to the next election,” Ms Credlin said.

“The Coalition is scoping out six sites for potential nuclear reactors, with formal announcements expected soon.

“Without a 24-7 energy, we cannot remain a first world economy, and nor will we be safe and secure if we can’t defend ourselves, and energy security is key in that.

“It is the debate we have to have, we must have, and it is the challenge the prime minister can’t ignore.”
