BARNSDALL, Okla. – PSO crews are getting closer to restoring full power to the Barnsdall and Bartlesville areas after the May 6th tornado.

As of noon Wednesday approximately 5,864 customers have had power restored with another remaining 3,000 customers expected to have the power turned back on by Thursday night.  

With estimated wind speeds of 165-175 mph, extensive system damage was seen with snapped poles, broken wire and bent steel structures. As of Wednesday morning crews have replaced over 150 poles, 154 crossarms, 65,000 feet of wire and 20 transformers.
