RAIN, WIND, & THUNDER COMING BACK THURSDAY EVENING [Video]

Elevated fire danger will remain in place for Tuesday. Be extra careful with anything that could throw a spark… the best bet is to refrain from burning right now. Needed moisture is on the way Tuesday night and that will lower the fire threat.

Scattered clouds & stars will be the norm tonight. Lows will range from the low 30s to low 40s. We’ll start our Tuesday with a little sun, but clouds are going to be on the increase all day long. Highs should be a bit cooler… mainly 50s near the lake shore with lower 60s inland. Late day wind gusts may be around 30 mph.

Our next weather maker will produce rain and thunderstorms Tuesday evening/night with some activity continuing into Wednesday. A good 3/4″ to 1.5″ of rain may fall with this system as it swirls on through. While an extra gusty storm is possible …
