Renewable project critics ‘do not talk about’ ongoing environmental impacts of coal mines [Video]

Individuals who bring up the “environmental impacts” of renewable projects “do not” say the same thing about coal mines, New South Wales Greens MP Abigail Boyd says.

“What we have is an urgent task now to reverse the climate change that is going to create more and more severe weather events,” said.

“We have to be serious about this stuff.

“All of these people who are now complaining about environmental impacts of projects, they don’t say that when they are talking about coal mines.

“They don’t talk about it when they are talking about any other development that could also lead to an environmental impact – it is just not true.”
