SA’s water crisis | Turning seawater into drinking water

Clean drinking water remains out of reach for many in South Africa but a solution is at hand for people in parts of the Eastern Cape.

Transnet has developed a desalination plant that will convert seawater into water that’s safe to drink.

The executive manager for Utilities Development at the Transnet National Ports Authority, Tandokazi Nquma-Moyo discussed this with eNCA.
