Scattered showers and storms are possible for the start of the new week before the eclipse on Monday.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – We are tracking several things for the new week including potential storms, the total solar eclipse, and plenty of rain chances.

Sunday: Temperatures start at near 40º with partly sunny skies. We stay dry throughout most of the day with temperatures reaching the lower 70s. After sunset, there is a marginal risk for some stronger storms. The main threat for any storms that push through would be some gusty winds. Widespread severe weather is not anticipated. Chance of precipitation 0% during the day, 30% after sunset.
