Maharashtra News:  Sunetra Pawar, the wife of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and the NDA candidate for the Baramati Lok Sabha seat got a major relief on Wednesday as the Mumbai Police cleared her of any wrongdoing in alleged Rs 25,000-crore Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank (MSCB) ‘scam’ case. Clearing her name in the case, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Mumbai police stated that no evidence, of any criminality or wrongdoing in the matter, was found.

The closure report further said that the bank suffered no financial losses in the loan-giving process or selling the Jarandeshwar Sugar Mill.
