HAMMOND, La. (WVUE) – A teenage girl was arrested Monday (April 22) after allegedly stabbing a fellow female student during a bathroom fight at Hammond High School, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said.

The accused offender, who allegedly attacked the girl with a foldable key knife, was booked into the Florida Parish Juvenile Detention Center on one count of aggravated second-degree battery, the TPSO said.

Authorities did not disclose the identities or ages of the arrested teen or victim.
