The criminal record of Chicopee firefighter accused of murdering girlfriend [Video]

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – We’re continuing to take a closer look at the criminal past of the man accused of murdering his girlfriend, a mother of two, and an employee at the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department.

Back in the early 2000′s Jason Chapdelaine served nine months of a one year sentence for felony charges related to assault and battery, breaking and entering, and more.

We’ve learned he was a firefighter before and after that, until his most recent arrest for the murder of Eileen, which put him on unpaid leave.

Chicopee firefighter Jason Chapdelaine was placed on unpaid leave this week after being arrested and charged in the murder of his girlfriend Eileen Monaghan, an executive assistant at the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department.
