A Tornado Watch is currently in effect for parts of North Texas.
The National Weather Service issued a watch for the southern and eastern counties through 6 p.m. Friday. That includes Dallas and Tarrant counties.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Dallas, Ellis, Johnson and Tarrant County, but were allowed to expire shortly before 1 p.m.
Some areas saw golf ball-sized hail, others are seeing dime-sized hailstones.
