Truck carrying chicken guts leaves bloody trail on road [Video]

MARSHALL, Texas (KSLA/Gray News) – Many drivers in Texas may have seen, and smelled, something gross while traveling through Marshall Tuesday.

The Marshall Police Department asked people to steer clear of E. End Boulevard N. south from Interstate 59 to Interstate 80.

Officials said a messy trail left by a truck carrying chicken guts was left in the specified area.

“For your own wheel’s sake (and your nose), please steer clear of the affected lane,” the police department said in a Facebook post.

Hazmat crews were called in to clean up the trail, authorities said.

“Drive safe, watch out for feathers, and maybe … keep your windows rolled up for this stretch. Thanks for your coop-eration!,” the department said.
