A man taken into custody Tuesday night after a high-speed pursuit in Twin Falls is facing multiple charges including felony aggravated battery on a police officer when the suspect drove toward him and collided with a patrol car, court records say.

The suspect, Jeffrey Krohn, 55, was found after a manhunt was launched after his abandoned vehicle was located in northeast Twin Falls. He is now being held on $1 million bond.

Krohn had an active warrant against him for a parole violation and was spotted driving a Dodge Charger at about 4:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Addison Avenue West, court records say.

Police officers tried to hem Krohn’s vehicle in behind a gas station, with police cars in both front and back of his vehicle, records say, but the suspect drove toward a police officer, causing him to jump out of the way, then crashed into a …
