One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says the push for nuclear is “well overdue” as it is a vision for the future to have a diversity of power.
“It is very well overdue, long before the Liberal National Party came out about nuclear, I had been talking about it for years,” she said.
“I am way ahead of them, you know? It is called vision for the future.
“We have to have the diversity of power, dispatchable power, you can’t get rid of your coal-fired power stations.
“The taxpayer is paying for this – your wind turbines and your solar farms don’t cut it.”
