WIND ADVISORY FOR ALL OF NORTH ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN TENNESSEE UNTIL TUESDAY AT 7AM.
LEVEL 1/5 RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER OVERNIGHT IN THE SHOALS.
A Wind Advisory is currently in effect through 7 a.m. tomorrow morning ahead of 40-45 mph wind gusts throughout the high. Dense and persistent cloud cover will keep our high temperatures in the low to mid-60s throughout the day.
Overnight, all counties west of I-65 are in a level 1/5 risk for severe weather, this ahead of a cold front bringing rain and storms to the region. The line enters the Shoals around midnight tonight, makes it to Huntsville and down to Cullman by about 5am and pushes into Sand Mountain by 8am. Rain will stick around until after lunchtime on Tuesday.
The sunshine returns to close out the work-week with high temperatures warming from the mid-60s Wednesday to the mid-70s for this weekend.
