The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 12:48 p.m. on Friday valid for Saturday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for Harney County.

The weather service states, “Southeast winds near 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. A few power outages are possible,” explains the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
