Woman accused of robbing New Orleans tourists after offering ride to hotel [Video]

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman accused of robbing two tourists in New Orleans.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, Jerameka Hampton, 43, offered the visitors a ride back to their hotel on Jan. 14. Instead, she took them to another location and stole some undisclosed property from them.

Hampton is facing charges of battery, fraud, and identity theft.

Police did not provide any additional details.
