Woman arrested after alleged stabbing [Video]

PEORIA (25News Now) – A woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing a man Thursday night.

Peoria Police say 37-year-old Danielle Blanchard was arrested on a preliminary charge of aggravated domestic battery.

Officers were called for a report of a man and woman arguing in the parking lot of local business around 5:11 p.m. in the 4100 block of North Sheridan.

Officers found a man with a single stab wound to the leg. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Blanchard was taken to the jail.
