The Executive Director of the Institute of Energy Security (IES) has described as misleading a claim by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that erratic power supply challenges across the country (referred to as dumsor) have been fully resolved.
According to Nana Amoasi VII, while it is important that the president reiterated his admission that the outages were ‘dumsor’, his handlers should lead and not mislead him on the current status of dumsor.
