(WSAZ) – After a lot of water falling from the sky yesterday, we’re looking at the development of continued flood threats around the region throughout the morning hours of the day on Friday, especially in those creeks, streams, and low-lying areas. Be sure to keep an eye on those floodwaters, and stay alert to flooded roadways. Remember, turn around, don’t drown. As we head into the afternoon hours, these waters should subside. However, energy in the upper levels of the atmosphere should continue to develop into the overall region, continuing a shower threat into the afternoon hours of Friday.

High pressure will look to build in for Saturday, looking to clear this shower activity by the time we reach the morning hours of the day. As high pressure moves eastward through the day, southerly winds will look to develop in fairly warm temperatures by the afternoon. With this in mind, …
