ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Hugely popular among collectors, most bobbleheads of historic figures or famous characters fit in the palm of your hand — but The Battery had a different idea.

A massive 3D bobblehead animation of Atlanta Braves Right Fielder Ronald Acuña Jr. will debut at the baseball team’s home opener on Friday. Coming to life on an LED screen stretched across the side of TK Elevator’s 420-foot-tall Innovation and Qualification Center, the figure appears to walk out of an elevator, waving and swinging its bat.

The charming bobblehead will be visible from The Battery and Truist Park, as well as drivers on I-75, TK Elevator said in a news release. A version of the animation will appear before every Braves home game.

The project was born out of a collaboration between TK Elevator, the Atlanta Braves and Gensler, which is the world’s largest architecture firm. Among …
