Former Australia batter Matthew Hayden feels that India will continue to maintain their lead in the ongoing Test series against England and emerge as the winner after registering a monumental 434-run win in the third Test in Rajkot, the highest-ever win in terms of runs for the home side.
Hayden feels that playing against India at home is a ‘battle of energy and conservation of resources’ as the hosts can bounce back at any juncture of the game.
“I think it’s India all the way. I was looking at the result this morning and thought that India, for a touring side, is a challenge for this reason. It’s a battle of energy and conservation of that resource, which is very limited,” Hayden told Star Sports.
