Nearly 65,000 customers without power in Wisconsin, as April snowstorm continues [Video]

(WFRV) – Customers all across the northeastern parts of Wisconsin are experiencing power outages as an April snowstorm is leaving its mark.

As of midnight on Wednesday, WPS is reporting 36,421 customers out of service and 757 outages. This is mostly in northeast Wisconsin, with a significant amount of outages in Green Bay.

We Energies is reporting that 27,284 customers are out of service, with 250 outages. Most of these outages are in the Fox Valley region.

The outages continue to pile up as from around 8 p.m. to midnight nearly an additional 30,000 customers lost service. Neither company has posted on its social media with any update on when service is expected to be restored.
