The World Energy Trilemma 2024 report was released last week.
It ranks more than 100 countries against the three key dimensions of energy security, equity and environmental sustainability. The bad news is that South Africa has fallen from 64th to 69th.
Denmark and Sweden top the index, with Niger and the Democratic Republic of Congo at the bottom of the standings.
To discuss what this means for the country, we’re joined by Vally Padayachee, Energy Expert and former Eskom Executive Manager.
