SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Happy Tuesday, Utah! We’ve seen a mixed bag of spring weather to start the workweek and we are coming off of lows in the 20s and 30s, with some lake effect snow showers this morning.

This next wave of energy means another day of scattered showers is in the cards with below average temperatures lingering today. It will be another day of adding snow to the mountains which are coming off some great totals from the weekend. Most mountains will have a chance to see another 3-8″ while isolated pockets could receive another foot, plus. Mountain valleys will likely see another 1-4″ with locally up to 8″. For valleys and benches that do see snow, another 2-4″ looks to be achievable with locally higher amounts. Moisture potential dwindles tonight with some short-lived changes ahead for the midweek.
