Water bottle filling stations coming to dozens of SC state parks [Video]

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Duke Energy and South Carolina State Parks officials made an announcement that the Duke Energy Foundation will be providing a $150,000 grant that will support the move to install water bottle filling stations at the 25 South Carolina state parks in the Duke Energy Carolinas counties.

The announcement was made at a press conference at Paris Mountain State Park on April 19.

Each station will include a water bottle filling spout, 2 water fountains, and a ground level fountain meant to be pet friendly. The project will promote the reduction of plastic waste while keeping you and your pets hydrated.
